About Me

Hey everyone! My name is Emily Daly - I am the face of The Avenue Cookie Company! I am a Northport native, teacher, wife, mom and baker! I started this little business 6 years ago in the town of Brewton, AL where my husband and I moved as newly weds. He was an engineer at the local paper mill and I was a stay-at-home dog mom while I awaited a teaching position. I had a lot of free time on my hands in that season of waiting, so one day I decided to try out sugar cookies. I experimented with a few recipes and sent some cookies to work with my husband. When he came home that day, I had my first order. From that moment on The Avenue Cookie Company began to grow and I quickly became the local cookie lady in our new town. After teaching three years, having two precious little ones, and moving back home to Northport, AL, I am honored to now have a brick and mortar cookie studio in Downtown Tuscaloosa where I can pursue my cookie dreams and share my passion for baking and teaching with a community I love.
